Drawing for Design Spring 2010
This is my portfolio from a class I just finished at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I took a class called Drawing for Design and it taught us to use a cube as the basis for drawing 3d objects on a 2d surface. I have a collection of projects and sketchbook pages to illustrate what I did in the class. My first project was making a design out of a cube. My second project was to use cubes to construct a relatively easy object (paint tube) using 2point perspective. And my final was close to the second project, except we had to construct a complicated object using cubes and paraline perspective. But instead of just making it a project, it was supposed to be more of a composition or ‘piece of art’. The sketchbook pages are just random sketchbook assignments.
